Lori Cohen graduated from the Ohio State University with a degree in Music Education. She studied euphonium under Dr. Paul Droste, composition with Dr. Moshe Budmor of Julliard and Dr. Wells of OSU, and Jewish music history with Jack Chomsky of Tifereth Israel. ÊLori taught instrumental and general music at Columbus Academy, in Columbus Public Schools and in South-Western City Schools. Additionally, Lori has been on staff at various high schools around central Ohio as a marching band instructor.

Her past performances include appearances with the Gary Tirey Tuba Troupe, Harvey PhillipsÕ tuba ensembles, Ohio Collegiate Brass, OSUMB Alumni groups, Bexley Meadow Band, Westerville Community Band and Civic Symphony. Mrs. Cohen has enjoyed organizing jazz band festivals for central Ohio schools and clinics with the Canadian Brass and Arturo Sandoval as well as a beginning band learning festival with area private schools.

Currently Lori is a full time homemaker and mother of three children. She plays euphonium with the Brass Band of Columbus, Ohio Capital Winds, New Albany Community Band, as well as participates in various other performance opportunities around central Ohio. She teaches brass instrument private lessons and is available for hire.
