The BBC Young Artist Competition (YAC) will be held on Sunday, 20 May at Dublin Jerome High School. Annually, this competition provides a scholarship opportunity to talented youth musicians as part of the BBC Educational Outreach program. The winner of the 2012 YAC will perform as a soloist at the annual Trinity Concert on June 12.
At 4:00 pm the BBC and the Ohio Valley British Brass Band (OVBBB) will perform in a join concert at Dublin Jerome High School. Participants from the YAC will have an opportunity to play with the bands in at least one selection.
