The BBC was one of seven bands and three brass ensembles to perform at the inaugural event.

The band performed the world premiere of the cornet solo "The Big Apple," and featured guest soloist Helen Tyler from Fodens.

This annual concert for the BBC is  shared with the Central Ohio Brass Band.

A smaller than average, but appreciative audience braved the cold to attend another enjoyable concert at St. Johns.

The convention center hall was packed out the doors (either that or we were too loud for some).  The band was honored to perform in front of all the music educators.

This was the bands 7th performance at the annual Ohio Music Education Association Convention.

Gates); Glorious Venture - Dan King, Cornet (Graham); Glorifico Aeternum (Jones); Cossack Fire Dance (Graham)  Although the band was squeezed into a slightly smaller venue than most concerts, they stepped up their performance by toning down their dynamics.  The band also enjoyed performing once again for Carol Evans and the rest of Friendship Village.

Farr); Cossack Fire Dance (Graham)  John Stark from Scotland was the guest soloist and the Westerville contingent in the band enjoyed performing in their home town (even though BBC members had only taught or attended WSHS, WNHS and yes, Westerville H.S.).  Another highlight was the loud and enthusiastic audience.

Cabot Rea joined the band as vocal soloist, with the opportunity to perform near his parents home town.

The band appreciated the large crowd and lovely venue and hopes to return in the near future.
